Our Story

 

Marathon Eavestroughing, Decks & Rails leads the market in our community, but we didn’t start out that way. Marathon was built through perseverance and determination from the ground up. In 1975, Bruce Fochler began going door-to-door, seeking out customers who needed new eavestroughs. Gradually building a positive reputation, and persisting through the ups and downs of the economy, Bruce and his wife Karen along with their 4 children, grew the business from these humble beginnings to the well-known local business that it has become. 

Today, Marathon has 7 trucks, 8 product lines, a show room, and over 16 employees. Karen and Bruce are now enjoying retired life, with the next generation running the family business. Their youngest son Cory has spent his entire life involved with Marathon, and he continues to operate with a dedication to exceptional customer service and community involvement.

Giving back to the community is an important value to everyone at Marathon. In addition to sponsoring various youth sports and supporting other charities, we take great pride in donating our products and services to:
